Hello all. I would appreciate some positive feedback and advice. I graduated from a very good undergrad last year and am taking graduate science classes to improve my G.P.A.'s. I have applied to ten D.O. schools this year and my application is being sent to the schools as I submitted it last month to improve my G.P.A. as I got a 4.0 in 3 graduate classes this fall semester. My stats approximately with couple thousands difference possibly with verification: cGPA: 3.36; sGPA: between 3.15 and 3.2 [low, but improved with A's this past semester]; MCAT: improved from 21 R to 25 S. Applied to Ohio, Marian, LECOM, KCUMB, DCOM, PCOM, KYCOM, WVU, and Campbell. Do i have any chance at all; even a small chance? How many seats approximately do you figure have been filled? I am taking 3 more graduate classes this semester and hope to do well to continue to raise my cGPA and sGPA. Considering I don't get in for this cycle, I am debating whether I should retake a chem and bio class I took in undergrad for summer semester which will end in mid-August and submit my AACOMAS then so the schools can see my grades or just apply June 1st; a month after my spring semester ends. i want to apply as early as possible with my stats, but am unsure if D.O. schools take academic updates because if i retake those 2 classes in the summer, grades won't be in until mid august and if i apply june 1st, i doubt they take academic updates as my app may be viewed already. generally, just advice as to do i even have a small chance and if i should apply june 1st or wait until mid-august for the upcoming cycle? Thank you.
