Hello all!
I'm an Arkansas resident, and as the title says, I'm at a 3.9 GPA; I haven't yet calculated my science GPA. I assume it'd only be a little bit below this value. As an AR resident with only one in-state school, deciding where to apply out of state is very difficult. So far, I'm looking to add Missou, but I don't know where else I'd really have a good chance at.
I haven't yet taken the MCAT--I plan on taking it in August.
I've had roughly 100 hours in a mix of clinic work and clinician shadowing, a year of research (my name is on a forthcoming publication), and around 20 hours so far at a free-health clinic. I was also a volunteer mentor at an elementary school for one semester, wracking up about another 20 odd hours there.
What do you guys think?
Thanks!
