Hi everyone,
I am looking through an compiling my list of schools and I'm really worried because I don't know which schools to even apply to since my MCAT score is so low.
I have A LOT of EC's
150 hours in the E.R
200 hours at a Mental hospital
2 years at an ADHD lab
1 year at cognitive neuroscience lab where I wrote my honors thesis and i am currently in the process of editing and rewriting for possible publication with my post doc
I have shadowed a nephrologist for a week
I spent two weeks at a rural clinic in pakistan 2 summers ago
I taught bio lab for two semesters
I tutor high school students
and I have had a clerical library job for 4 years
I want to apply mostly to M.D schools and some D.O. schools
any recommendations?
what are the NEW M.D. schools that have opened up? is it risky to go to a medical school that has recently opened up and does not have a graduating class yet? are they easier to get into?
oh and I'm a california resident -__- so please recommend out of state schools that accept a good number of california applicants
