So last semester (sophomore year) I was charged with an academic dishonesty infraction due to plagiarism on a philosophy paper. What had happened was (stupid mistake) I had forgotten to include my bibliography with my paper before I'd turned it in, although I had completed it with all the appropriate sources and did not realize until after I had been notified of the infraction that I must have forgotten it, though I could've sworn I included it. Would you say my chances at med school are completely destroyed, or could I still have a chance if I honestly explain my side of the situation?
