Hey guys,
I'm really having a hard time deciding if i should apply early decision to my state school, Medical college of Georgia.
I'm not sure if i like the loaction, but i cant get over how cheap the tuition is.
Other schools i would be interested in are: Wake Forest, Georgetown, George Washington, Mercer, Emory (reach), Maryland, BU (reach)
What would the better course of action be?
I have a 3.6+ cGPA 3.7+ sGPA
MCAT 30 8 ps/10 v/12 bs
i have ~30 hours volunteering at a cardiologists office during a summer
unknown amount of hours volunteering at a free clinic (~2.5 years)
unknown amount of hours volunteering at a local after school tutoring program (~2 years)
Shadowed 2 physicians (neurosurgeon, and orthopedic surgeon) ~25 hrs
have done research in a infectious diseases lab as a job and class credit for 3 years
-2 posters, working on possibly a 1st author publication
early decision or send out applications the day it opens to multiple schools?
Thanks guys!
