MD Sophomore, c3.31, s. 2.53, Ivy, advice?

Hello! I am distressed about my g.p.a. and pre-med prospects and would really appreciate any advice you can offer!

cGPA: 3.31
sGPA: 2.53

Extracurriculars:

Anime Club (Fall 2011 -- ongoing)
Published (2 Poems in major university literary magazine--includes graduate and staff works) (2013)

[All of the following were done for-profit, to pay for food and textbooks.]
Taught non-profit SAT class for underpriviliged students (Fall 2011)
Taught another non-profit SAT class (different program) (Fall 2011 -- ongoing)
Psychology lab research assistant (Summer 2012--occasionally ongoing)
Library Circulation Desk (Summer 2012 -- ongoing)

I'm very sad because data shows that the average accepted GPA is in the 3.7 range, and I am unsure if I can possibly boost my abysmal sGPA that high. According to my calculations, if I only took science classes during the summer and junior year, and got an A- on all of them, I would have a cGPA of 3.53 and an sGPA of 3.43.

I go to an Ivy League school. (I do not recommend it for pre-meds, at least those who are not extraordinarily prepared and talented in the sciences.)

My questions: (Main two question bolded).
1. Would you advise I take the 4 science classes in the summer that I was planning to take in order to boost my GPA?

2. Would a cGPA of 3.53 and an sGPA of 3.43 get me into medical school? OR would you recommend I (a). apply for med school after senior year or (b). go to a post-bacc program before applying to medical school? (I do not want to be a DO if I can help it). Overall, what are my prospects/ schools you'd recommend I consider?

3. Does the fact that my classes are at least slightly more difficult due to the nature of the students I am competing against account for anything in medical school admissions?

4. When should I prepare for / take the MCATs? (They will be changing in 2015, eliminating the writing section, and writing is the one thing I'm confident about.)

5. Do you have any other general advice or success stories you would be kind enough to share?

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance! You do not have to answer all these questions, as I am also researching extensively, but I really appreciate your opinion!
