Hey, guys
I am currently a Undergrad attending a highly ranked University. My first year I did great starting out with a 3.9 GPA. My current (sophomore) year I got 3 B+s and one C minus in intro to biology drastically lowering my GPA. I have 200+ hours in hospital volunteering and I am currently participating in research and other extracurricular such as orchestra (Sorry bad English, new immigrant)
I have taken AP biology in high school and received a 4 in it. I only took Biology in University so that I will have practice for MCAT.
Should I retake the intro the biology or simply aim to make my GPA higher?
I am biology major.
Reason I got a C minus was due to the professor. He graded very strictly and gave everybody in my course similar grades.
I am aiming to apply to NYU medical school by my senior year.
Guys have any input? Thanks.
