It has always been my dream to be a doctor. But right now I'm not sure what to do? I am currently a senior at a top LAC and majored in econ with a chem minor.
I have a cgpa of 3.25 and a sgpa of slighly below 3. My gpa is mainly weighed down by my C in microbiology and D in genetics. I was wondering what your thoughts were on my chances of getting into med school.
I scored a 32 on my mcat. I know MD is out of the question but was wondering what your thoughts on my plan of action.
Currently I'm applying to some consulting jobs and hoping for the best. I'm starting to realize I may not want to go into the business world and would just like to go to medical school. What is my plan at this point.
I was thinking about getting a job at a consulting firm. Then while I'm working to apply to med schools next cycle. What are your thoughts? Maybe DO/MBA programs?
I actually have quite a strong interest in medicine so going to DO/MBA route has always been a thought of mine.
