So I want to be an Anesthesiologist.. Im currently a freshman at a local community college, but ill be transferring to a State University next semester. Im majoring in Epidemiology as my Pre-Med. My biggest issue as of now is GPA.. See, I took dual-credit college courses ever since I was a freshman in High School, and because of that I was able to skip my senior year and jump straight into College as a late freshman. Now moving towards the issue at hand..I passed but didn't ace my dual-credit courses so as a result my GPA isn't good, in fact its pretty pathetic.(about a 2.3 as of now) However I am now focusing all my abilities to my studies, working my butt off to reach my goal. But many have told me its too late, since I bombed my Freshman year I'm better off taking on a different Health Career. However, my dream is still to become an Anesthesiologist, I know I would enjoy the opportunity to help others as well as the risks involved. I know its not easy but is it too late for me to have a comeback, get into Med-School, and pursue my dream of being an Anesthesiologist? :confused:
