I just received my MCAT score(PS 10 VR 10 BS 9) and am trying see if I have any chance of getting accepted to a MD program. I plan on applying next year and taking a gap year. These are my scores/grades with my predicted outcomes from this next school year.
CA resident
Psych major with minors in Bio and Biochem (possibly Chem as well)
I transferred from a top ~50 out of state university, where I didnt try in school hence the upward trend, to a smaller in-state uni.
cGPA 3.73 ( upward trend)
sGPA 3.55(solid upward trend) I got a 'C' in Bio 1 which throws it off

ECs
150 hours paid/volunteering at a social services center focusing on homeless prevention
2 months working as EMT on ambulance
1.5 years as member of university's emergency medical response organization
2 semesters as research assistant in psychophysio lab
+100 hours volunteering in ER
Internship and volunteer with an in-home health/telemedicine company
Plus a couple pretty good LORs and 1 excellent LOR
Should I retake the MCAT? Also, would it help to retake my Bio 1 class, during my gap year, in which I got a 'C'? I know I dont have much options with any in-states, maybe only LL? Any recommendations on out of states? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
