Hey guys,
I am 22 and just graduated from college. I have a 3.1 cGPA and I scored a 26 (9PS, 8VR, 9BS) and a 24 (7PS, 7VR, 10BS) on my MCAT.
During senior year, after finding out I was dyslexic and properly treating it, my grades started going up. Nonetheless, I realize I do not have the best credentials for medical school.
I applied to a lot of DO schools and completed their secondaries. I have a very strong EC list (founder of a club, various research labs, etc etc.) and great LOR. However, I am unsure what my chances are at DO schools! (I applied to just 2 MD schools).
I recently started a Masters Program in Biomedical Science in attempts to lift my GPA and show schools that with the right mindset I can do better. I do not want to use dyslexia as a crutch, but finding out really did help my studying strategies.
Can anyone please offer me some advice? Thank you. :)
