University of Texas at Austin
Major: Biochemistry
sGPA:3.90
cGPA:3.95
MCAT: 32 (13-13-6 verbal went much worse than all my previous AAMC practice tests, had a baseline of 8 with average of 10 after studying only verbal for 3 months so this was quite the sad surprise)

Background: Texas non resident, US citizen, but had high school in China. Fluent and proficient in Mandarin and Cantonese, also understand Chinese culture well. (does this help?)
Race: Asian

Interests: Toxicology(very interested in poisons, drugs, know a drug dealer and some hard drug users personally although I don't have, sell or take drugs and I tell them to consider stop doing so) Nutrition (knowledgable about supplements and steroids- I don't take them but I know people who do), bodybuilding, basketball, karate, yoga and pretty much most sports
I would prefer going into Sports medicine or becoming a physician nutrition specialist or medical toxicologist but I'm also interested in medicine in general so I'll explore other interests more thoroughly once I get in.

Experience, honors and application stuff:
3 strong recommendation letters all from professors I know personally very well
Research experience 2 years (ongoing), no publications unfortunately
Shadowing hours(50+)
ROTC 1 year, (leadership), dropped out because the lifestyle and culture didn't fit my personality
Resident Assistant at a dorm this summer and fall
Random volunteering hours (50+) at several community organizations dunno how to put this in my application, any ideas?
Some random scholarships and honors that nobody cares about after you graduated college

Schools applying to:
All the Texas schools, because I like Texas and have family, friends ... and girlfriend.
Also I'm a broke college kid :)

Doesn't really matter much to me which medical school in Texas.. Baylor would be great, but should I even bother applying with such an abysmal verbal score? I don't have enough time to retake(although I'm sure if I take it again I'll do much better on verbal since I strongly believe it's a fluke) and I'm applying rather late. I don't want to apply next year because I'd hate to waste a year(I'm trying to finish quick, graduating college in 3 years, so applying next year would be fine but I'd feel horrible). Please chance me.

Thank you, I appreciate any advice!
