MD Class of 2015 - Ideas on what to do to improve my chances?

Just curious as to what more I should be doing to improve my chances/what my chances are with the stats I have now.

Major: Biochemistry
Graduation date: May 2015
MCAT: Upcoming spring/summer (woke up one morning and decided to take a practice one and got a 22 with still needing multiple classes)
cGPA: 3.344

ECs:
  • Been working in biofuels research since last October. Expecting publication this November-ish. (~10 hours per week during school year)
  • Work rodeos on weekends (~20 hours/weekend during school)
  • Founded a fundraiser dodgeball tournament for treatment and research of PTSD. First event is late September; I am expecting the tournament to raise between $15,000 and $20,000. www.ptsddodgeball.org
  • 112 hours volunteering in hospital setting (nearly all have been in burn unit) I started volunteering here Spring of my freshman year
  • 20 hours volunteering at humane society
  • 4 hours volunteering at community event
  • ~20 hours shadowing time
  • Fundraising director for our Big Red Investment Club
  • Member of Pre-med club
  • Taught myself how to daytrade and became successful. I was ranked #8 out of 20,000 nationwide members for '% gain in 90 days'.

I realize my GPA is low, I loaded up on hard/fast paced science courses my freshman year. Sadly I brought along my lethargic high school attitude towards class. This past semester, however I held a 3.779 and attained A's in Organic I and II.

Thanks all in advanced!

Oh, hoping to being accepted into UNMC

I did receive a disorderly conduct this past summer for urinating in an alley. Officer told me if I were three feet farther down the alley I would have been fine. Why, I have no idea. Court for this is later this month, hoping to get it dropped.
