I will have a 3.61 undergraduate GPA from UC Davis in Biology when I graduate. I received 3 A+s in organic chemistry, 3 As in General Chemistry, 2 As and an A+ in General Biology, 1 B and 2 Cs in physics (probably the worst I've done in a course in undergrad). I really want to stay in California for a medical school (preferably an MD one), about what MCAT score do I need to be competitive for California medical schools? Ideally I'd want to go to UC Davis for Med school too.
Research:
I've worked for 2 quarters (couple hundred hours) at a global health initiative non-profit.
Did some generic plant biology research.
Shadowed a cardiologist for 10 hrs.
Shadowed/Interned with a cosmetic dentist for a few hundred hours.
Misc volunteering/charity work.
