Hey all, just wanted to get some opinions on my list of schools.
Quick background:
Graduated with a double BA (Psych and History) from Boston University in 2010.
Post-bac (pre-med) completed at California State U-CI in 2013.
cGPA: 3.52
sGPA: 3.88
First MCAT: 31 (10P, 10V, 11B)
Retake MCAT: **score to be released 8/25, but felt MUCH better about this one! 99% sure improvement.
My ECs are a little weak, but with a twist. I have worked CONSISTENTLY 35-40+ hours per week since high school. I had to support myself, and didn't have much time for a lot of ECs unfortunately. I am confident that once I land an interview, I have a very good chance at acceptance. I've worked in the restaurant industry since I was 16, and am exceptionally personable. :)
-40 hours volunteer in Boston-area hospital
-40 hours academic tutor (paid by university)
-1 semester as lab technician/asst for research faculty
-EMTB certification (which included 30 hours shadowing in ER and ambulance)
-current CPR/AED/BCLS certification
-5 month solo backpacking trip in Europe (random, I know- but interesting!)
-*accepted to volunteer hospital program in Thailand for 2 weeks (this Sept.)
-*plans to work for family friend in asthma research in NJ for gap year
List of schools:
Safety (I think?)

Commonwealth
Temple
Drexel

George Washington
Mid
UIllinois
Virginia Commonwealth
E. Virginia
Albert Einstein
Hofstra
Albany
SUNY Buffalo
SUNY Downstate

I'm very set on heading back to the East Coast. I grew up in CA, but my family is based in NJ/NY now, and I lived in Boston for 5 years. My 'legal' residency is still CA, but current address is in NJ. I included so many 'Reach' schools because I am very confident in my second MCAT score.
Any advice on the list of schools? I've been verified already, but was unsure if I should submit to all the schools before my 2nd MCAT score posts.
