First time post! I'd like to hear opinions on my chances given this school list:
Georgetown
GW
Penn State
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
NYMC
Tufts
Maryland
I've submitted the secondaries to all the schools that have sent them to me so far, only two left to complete. I'm a Biochemistry major. MCAT is balanced with 11 BS, 10 PS, 9 VR. My ECs are decently strong in my opinion:
-Year of research experience including a poster presentation at a National Conference
-150 hours of ER volunteering in two different ERs
~50 hours of shadowing with 3 different docs
-Lots of work experience in various jobs relating to chemistry and random paying jobs
-Big commitments to ECs outside of school (fraternity, sports team manager, etc.)
I feel as if I'm a very cookie cutter applicant and wondering if these schools will offer me interviews, as my stats match up well. Opinions please! These schools are all close to home and the majority are in cities, which is where I'm looking to attend school.
