Hey guys,
I should mention I don't have my MCAT score back yet, and while I don't know what I made, my average for the last 6 AAMC's was a 35, so hypothetically if I made around a 32, how many DO schools do you think I should apply to to have a pretty good chance at acceptance?
I should be 100% complete by around mid-August (that is, primary verified, LoRs all in, secondaries hopefully done around this time too).
GPA is a 3.60c/3.40s, MCAT 32 +/- 1.
A few of my EC's:
Officer in Pre-med group
TA'd for 3 classes
Shadowed a DO (got a LoR as well)
Hospital volunteering.
Got the 2 science LoR and one non-science as well.
I'm a FL resident, and currently I'm applying to:
Nova
LECOM-B
CCOM
Not really asking for any specific school (thinking DMU/PCOM if I'm adding more, but hey if you have some suggestions), just more of a number as to how many would give me a good chance.
I know it's easy to just say to apply to 10 more schools, but because of money issues I'm trying to find a balance.
