The following are the schools I am currently looking at (as an NY resident):
  1. Albany Medical College
  2. Creighton University School of Medicine
  3. Drexel University College of Medicine
  4. Eastern Virginia Medical School
  5. Hofstra North Shore - LIJ School of Medicine
  6. Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University
  7. Medical College of Wisconsin
  8. New York Medical College
  9. Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine
  10. State University of New York Downstate Medical College of Medicine
  11. State University of New York Upstate Medical University
  12. Stony Brook University School of Medicine
  13. Temple University School of Medicine
  14. The Commonwealth Medical College
  15. Tulane University School of Medicine
  16. University at Buffalo State University of New York School of Medicine and Science
  17. University of Illinois College of Medicine
  18. Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine
  19. Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
  20. Wake Forest School of Medicine of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center

From searching SDN, my understanding is that a good grad GPA/MCAT do not compensate for a poor undergrad GPA - is this correct?

I would appreciate any advice you have for me!
