Canadian applicant
Now for the ECs, comparing to what I've seen on SDN they're pretty average. I was wondering if that would bring my application down too much.
University-related:
Assisting with research at a hospital (150 hours)
- Western blots, tissue cultures, data analysis, helping around the lab
Working with a prof assisting with a course (50 hours)
-helping the TA run the lab
-helping the professor with lecture materials
Working with an undergrad research student in a chemistry lab (30 hours)
- doing chemical synthesis & analyzing results; attended a Chemistry conference and had my name on the poster lol
Leadership (200 hours)
-leadership classes and stuff
-residence orientation leader (helping to run & coordinate residence orientation events)
-organizing/running campus charity events & fundraisers for two different companies
Misc campus involvement (200 hours)
-creating promotional and recruitment materials for a company
-campus life photography for another company
Testing chemistry homework software for first year students with a prof (about 20 hours)
Volunteered at a health clinic, not medical, morre like therapeutical (200 hours)
Non-university:
Tutored high school students in chemistry and biology (150 hours)
Salvation Army Volunteering (about two months)
-working with doctors in rural areas of Moldova, assisting patient visits, distributing care packages
-translating letters from adoptees to their sponsors in Europe; distributing care packages and visiting the adoptees at their houses
Hobbies:
Sport activities (nothing too crazy, just fitness classes)

Visual arts
- photography (hobby and work)
- modeling
- drawing/painting
- clothing design
Music
- Been in a band for two years as a vocalist
- DJing for two years and writing music

Finally, if I submit my primary by the end of this week, would I still have a good chance? (will prewrite the secondaries)
