Having trouble narrowing down schools and would love some suggestions. My info -
3.89 cGPA
3.99 sGPA
35 MCAT (11 on both sciences, 13 on VR)
non-trad
applying as NYS resident
3 years paid work in research at a top hospital (no posters/pubs - though may have a chance to get involved on one this year which would be a nice update for schools)
>300 hrs clinical volunteering
~40 hrs shadowing
handful of other shorter-term EC's (non-clinical community service, music)
I prefer cities (have lived in Boston & NYC), though a really small city would be fine with me if I loved the school. Would also like to apply to some California schools - obviously always a HUGE long shot from OOS, but I would like to at least give it a shot. Only glaring drawback on my app is more W's than I'd like, though I'm very comfortable explaining the situation from the period where I got them and at this point they were about 5 years ago.
