I am a first time applicant who just graduated with Chemistry degree.
My MCAT breakdown is 12 physical, 8 verbal, M writing, 10 Bio.
GPA is 3.98 overall, 4.0 science.
I have average shadowing, mentoring, work, and research experience...a little bit of everything.
I'm a US citizen who've lived abroad until college.
My current list is the following:
Albany Medical College
FIU
Florida Atlantic University Charles
Florida State University
George Washington
Georgetown University
Howard University
Meharry
Morehouse
New York Medical College
Rosalind Franklin
The University of Miami
University of Central Florida COM
University of Florida
USF Health Morsani College of Medicine
Western Michigan University School of Medicine
Other than Florida, I'm not sure what are the best schools for me to apply to, based on my MCAT score. I think my MCAT might put me at a disadvantage as an out-of-state applicant.
Am I aiming right?
