Hello SDN! This is my final WAMC thread (hopefully), as I will be submitting my application in a week or two. My PS is shaping up to be fairly strong, and I've made a lot of meaningful connections with a lot of my professors, and they were all enthused to write me letters. I've taken the "apply to more schools than is probably advisable" approach because I really, really, really don't want to have to check off the reapplication box next year.

LORs:
7 total, all fairly strong to very strong. 3 music professors (leadership, teachability etc, all very strong), 3 research professors (2 basic science, 1 clinical), and 1 science faculty (very strong letter).
Here is a preliminary list I have:
reach
northwestern
mayo
yale
UCSD
columbia
duke
cornell??
stanford
NYU
middle
tufts
georgetown
BU
case western
albert einstein
UConn
dartmouth
penn state
temple
brown
UMD?
wake forest
safe
drexel
albany
GW
thomas jefferson
loyola
marshall university
NYMC
tulane
virginia tech
rosalind franklin chicago
I've tiered them based on A.) GPA/MCAT, B.) residency prejudice, and C.) demographics. I'm not sure if that's the most accurate way of going about it, but yeah. I would say the boston schools and UConn are my top top choices out of the mid tier. UCSD, columbia, yale, NYU, stanford, and cornell are my absolute top choices out of the reaches. The others I would certainly love attending because they'll give me an MD after 4 years, and the locations are tolerable.
What I would like from you guys is a suggestion for other schools I might want to take a second look at, what schools here might automatically select me out for various reasons, and maybe some advice for the rest of the cycle. Also, if I should remove any schools just because I've put too many up, that's also valid. Thank you!
