Hey guys, I am just trying to get an idea of what schools would be reasonable for me to apply.
Applicant Information:
- Asian, Male, 22, Illinois Resident, Graduated from my state school
- SGPA and CGPA 3.85
- First MCAT- 10/5VR/9- 24R; Second MCAT: 9/8VR/11- 28S
- Work at clinic front desk for 4.5 years (10-15 hrs/week)
- Clinical Volunteering for 2 years (3-4 hrs/week)
- Nonclinical Volunteering at food pantry and homeless shelter- will be about 1 year by the time I submit (alternate 2-3 hrs/week)
- 2 years of Physician Shadowing, 3 different specialties (5-6 hours/biweekly)
- Teaching assistant for various undergraduate math classes
- Research Experiences- 2 different projects, protein function and social medicine with one formal presentation (2.5 years, 3-4 hours/week)
- LOR- assumed to be strong to very strong
