I am(was) an international student who just got permanent residency (green card) I completed an engineering program with 2.2 gpa. I have an international bachelors degree at 4.0 gpa. I had come to the US after my wedding and was so upset that I had to do a second bachelors degree and so I transferred around 32 credits to my school here n just finished off the program. Upset mainly because I was a med student prior to doing my bachelors degree. The college that I went to had recognition problems and they cheated our batch of students saying that they would be recognized soon and admitted students. Two years later with no exams and false promises, they started asking students to pay extra(bribe) in order to write exams. Many of the students including me, quit n moved on with our*lives. Without the recognition we werent ready to pay and they asked us to pay or leave.

I didn't think of med school when I came here as I didn't know the system and GPA requirements. When I almost finished engineering school I came across the forums on how Non-traditional students join med school too. I've always wanted to be a doctor. Learned anatomy, physiology, biochemistry etc and had histology, anatomy, biochem labs. Had experienced an*emergency situation when one of the students had an anxiety attack n took her to the hospital in an ambulance. Took care of my grandma and performed certain medical procedures such as inserting the feeding tube and runing an IV etc*with the head nurse's guide. Ive volunteered to draw blood for blood drives too. However i dont hsve any paperwork for the same. Are these counted as ECs? I teach dance to a few students since 2 years. I have taught biology to 12th graders in my hometown while in med college. Do i include these too?
