Hello, I'm in a tough spot right now and could really use some advice. I've applied to med school 2 years in a row and recieved a total of 7 interviews over those 2 years, I attended 6 and was waitlisted each time. When I didn't get in the first time, I didn't really know what to do, so I enrolled in Wayne State's BMS program. Around that time I began acting differently, not sleeping as much, very impulsive. I finished the first semester commuting, not attending any classes with 2 B's and a Withdrawal while passing (I missed an exam). Second semester I only took 1 physiology class, again never attended, ended up with a B-. So in 14 credits my GPA was a whopping 2.86. I had 3 interviews during that time which I thought went well, but I was still waitlisted and left on the waitlist. Shortly after applying a 3rd time, I had a severe manic episode. I hadn't slept for 48 hours, thought I was on a mission from God, took my friends expensive BMW on the freeway and almost totalled it and died. After, I was diagnosed as bipolar 1, and it took me awhile on medication to get back to normal. After looking back at what had happened, everything seemed to be left in shambles, so I withdrew my AMCAS fearing people seeing my low graduate GPA would ruin anymore chances I have of being accepted to medical school. I believe my MCAT expires after this cycle. Should I apply explaining what happened in my PS? I have acceptable research/volunteering/leadership from my undergrad years, not so much recently. What should my next move be?

Sorry for the life story, thanks for reading and offering help
