I'm narrowing down my list of schools to which I plan to send my application this cycle. Given my profile, is this list adequate? Are my chances decent (at least for the non-dream schools)?
About me:
-4th year at a top public institution (CA)
-California resident with ties in Texas
-Physiological Science major
-3.5 cGPA
-3.34 sGPA
-Really strong upward trend since freshman year
-32N MCAT (10 PS, 10VR, 12 BS)
-4 year member of Fellowship for International Service and Health (Last year served as Director of International Relations, this year I am Chief Relations officer). We travel to Mexico every other week to put on free health clinics. Entirely student-run non-profit organization
-Shadowing in pediatrics, ICU, OB/GYN
-Two summers ago, worked at a birthing clinic on Guam as a birthing assistant
-Full-time medical assistant in pediatrics for summer in high school
-Undergraduate assistant for upper division anatomy class
-Did research in lab on campus
-Number of non-science extracurriculars (student theater group, talent show performer)
